Talk on Neuromythology by philosopher and physician Raymond Tallis, Tuesday, 20.05.2019, 4-6 p.m.

On Monday, 20.05.2019, philosopher and emeritus professor of geriatrics at the University of Manchester Raymond Tallis, will give a lecture on the topic „Neuromythology – The Language of Neurophilosophy“. Best known for his detailed and severe criticism of the prevailing neuromania in the philosophy of mind, Raymond Tallis defends a humanistic view of the human mind beyond physicalism and reductionism by thoroughly analyzing the language of current neuromythology and thereby exhibiting its inconsistency.
