What is a Good Life? A Socratic Dialogue Between Agnes Callard and Markus Gabriel
What does it mean to live well, to lead a good life? Join philosophers Agnes Callard (University of Chicago) and Markus Gabriel (University of Bonn) for a live Socratic dialogue exploring one of humanity’s oldest and most vital questions: what makes a life good. Through rigorous yet accessible conversation, the speakers will examine competing visions of human flourishing, the role of aspiration in personal transformation, and what it means for moral facts to exist independently of our perspectives. The dialogue invites the audience to partake in a dynamic reflection on purpose, value, and the standards by which a life can be judged good.
