Tenure-Track position
at the German rank of W-2 Professor

Classical German Philosophy

Five years pre-tenure, followed by tenure decision. AOS: Classical German Philosophy. AOC: epistemology and/or philosophy of language. Position begins April 1, 2015. PhD in Philosophy and publications are required for non-German applicants; PhD and Habilitation for German applicants. Active research interests in AOS and AOC are essential. Teaching in the amount of approximately 7 hours per week for two semesters per year (9 Semesterwochenstunden). Active participation in forming and leading a research project within the applicant’s field of research in connection with the Alexander von Humboldt Professorship of Michael N. Forster. Active participation in both the Department of Philosophy and the International Centre for Philosophy, NRW at Bonn University.
