Prof. Dr. Monika Kaup: Tom McCarthy's Neo-Neuro-modernism: Reconfiguring Proustian Memory in Remainder
On November 4th (16:00-19:00, IZPH, Poppelsdorfer Allee 28), Prof. Dr. Monika Kaup from the University of Washington in Seattle will speak on ‘Tom McCarthy’s Neo-Neuro-modernism: Reconfiguring Proustian Memory in Remainder’. The basis of her lecture is an article that will be published shortly, the contents of which Kaup will discuss publicly here for the first time. These interim results are part of her latest book project ‘on narrative as a reliable mode of knowledge’.
Kaup is on the advisory board of the book series Reality and Hermeneutics – Bonn Studies in the New Humanities (https://www.mohrsiebeck.com/en/monograph-series/reality-and-hermeneutics-rh/).
